Completion certificate: proof a course was finished
A completion certificate is a document a course maker issues when a learner finishes the course; it records completion rather than a grade or a university qualification. As of 2026-09-25.
Curious Refuge includes a completion certificate with both ways of buying its course. Blake Ridder's Masterclass lists a certificate of completion. Don Bosco Film School runs its AI filmmaking course as a certificate course.
None of the tool makers' academies on the register mentions one.
A certificate says a course was completed; the film made during it says more about what was learned.
Where a page says certification rather than certificate, it usually means an assessed programme, as at the Academy of AI Filmmaking.
A certificate is usually issued by the course maker itself, not by an outside body, so its weight rests on the maker's name.
Keep the finished work alongside the certificate; a short film says more to a client than a document does.
